Support Our Partners

We’ll say it again—we’re all about community. And that of course includes the brands, colleagues and friends we think are taking cannabis and the California lifestyle to a whole new level whether that’s a product or service. Creative innovators, these are the folks who are all about best practices and making sure anything you try and buy is first-rate and top-shelf. Or in the case of Last Prisoner Project, working to right wrongs that have existed for decades. Take a look and see what these businesses and organizations are up to—we think you’ll be impressed. And if you can, support their efforts to make life more enjoyable every day!

DRAGSTRIP 66

Best friends and club promoters Mr. Dan (aka Gina Lotriman) and DJ Paul V. opened the doors of Dragstrip 66 in LA’s Silver Lake neighborhood in the early Nineties. Once a month, they turned a local club into a beloved destination for music, dance, fashion and performance art. Dragstrip 66 was the safe party space where people were encouraged to let their hair down—or tease it up. Think John Waters directing KISS as styled by Bob Mackie and Goodwill. Over the years, the talented group built Dragstrip 66 into an iconic venue for LA’s LGBTQ community that still hosts performances at the Cavern Club.

CASITA DEL CAMPO

For almost 60 years, Casita del Campo has been a local favorite in LA’s trendy, Silver Lake neighborhood. For all those years, this family-run Mexican restaurant has welcomed everyone from local families to Hollywood celebrities. Since its opening in 1962, founder Rudy Del Campo also welcomed LA’s LGTBQ community, who found a friend when there were few places to mingle freely. Today, the art-filled restaurant’s award-winning food and cheerful ambiance win new fans every day, and it remains a proud proponent of the maxim, “Love is love.”
